Meadowhawk Press uses PayPal to process all our credit card transactions. This provides a completely secure environment by the most widely know processor on online payment transactions.

Q. What if I don't have a PayPal account?

A. This is not a problem, as a PayPal account is not required. Simply click on the link "Don't have a PayPal Account?" when you get to the sign-in page for PayPal. This will allow you to check out using a credit card without having to create a PayPal account.

Q. I don't see a padlock indicating secure website while I'm in the Meadowhawk VirtueMart shopping cart, why is that?

A. We do not ask for any of your credit card information on the Meadowhawk website, therefore a secure connection is not required. You will be asked for credit card information only AFTER we hand you over to the PayPal site, which is completely secure and encrypted.

Q. What can I do to ensure my credit card information will remain secure.

A. As always, anytime you are shopping online, make sure you use good internet practices. Do not enter credit card information unless you see the padlock indicating a secure site in the corner of your browser window. Make sure when we transfer you over to the PayPal site, the web address begins with https://www.paypal....

If for any reason you are not confident using PayPal to process your transaction, please select "Check / Money Order" when you get to the payment option page in our shopping cart and you may snail mail your payment to us. We will happily process your transaction and mail your books to you when your payment has cleared.
